Late Alaafin of Oyo’s son, Abdulfatai is dead.  Prince Abdulfatai Adeyemi, aka D-Gov, one of the sons of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, died in the early hours of Friday, December 8, a day before his 47th birthday. He reportedly died of diabetes at the University College Hospital in Ibadan, Oyo State. The Public Relations Officer of UCH, Mrs Funmilayo Adetuyibi, confirmed the death of the late Alaafin’s son, saying that he died at the hospital on Friday morning. Adetuyibi told NAN that AbdulFatai was brought to the hospital around 12.05 a.m. on Friday and died at exactly 3:50 a.m. She, however, declined when asked about the disease that the late Oyo prince was suffering from which eventually resulted in his death. “I can’t disclose his diagnosis or what killed him because it is against our professional ethics,” the UCH spokesperson said. Moet said she is yet to find a “sensible man,” lamenting that most men “don’t have sense.” She said this in a recent episode of the Bahd and Boujee Podcast co-hosted by her and reality star Tolanibaj with Nollywood actor, Etim Effiong, as a guest. During the session, Effiong, who had known Moet since he was single six years ago, asked her why she was still single. Moet replied, “You already know my reservations. I am tired of saying this every episode. “Your gender needs to do more. My issue with men is that they do not have sense. “I’m still single because I’ve issue with men. My issue with men is that they don’t have sense.

How i was cancelled for saying Ghana influenced Nigerian music – Mr Eazi Mr Eazi, a well-known singer and serial entrepreneur, has reflected on how he became a target of cancel culture after he claimed that Ghana had an influence on Nigerian music. The singer sparked outrage when he tweeted on January 11, 2017 about the significant influence of Ghanaian music on contemporary Nigerian music.  His statement turned nigerians against him as his numerous fans, colleagues, and music enthusiasts threatened to cancel him. In his response to the criticism, Mr Eazi stated in a recent episode of the Afrobeats Intelligence Podcast with host Joey Akan that he does not regret his statement despite the threats.
