Buhari: Leading Nigeria is one of hardest challenges in life



Former President Muhammadu Buhari has revealed that leading Nigeria is one of the hardest challenges in life.
 
Buhari made this known in his Eid-el-Kabir message signed by his spokesperson, Garba Shehu. He said leadership entails the cooperation and support of all citizens.

Buhari also appealed to Nigerians to support his successor, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The statement reads

“Leading a country like Nigeria is one of the hardest challenges in life and urged Nigerians to fully support the Tinubu Administration to succeed and that leadership is a challenging task that demands the sacrifices and support of the citizens.”

The former president also wished Nigerian Muslims a happy Eid and “to those on pilgrimage, Hajj Mabrur and a safe return home”.

Naira falls N770 to a dollars The Naira on Monday, June 19, closed at N770 per dollar at the investors and exporters (I&E) window.   FMDQ Securities Exchange Limited said Monday's closing rate represents a 16.1 percent depreciation from the N663 recorded on the last trading day (Friday).   Though the Naira is yet to gain stability following changes implemented by the federal government in Nigeria’s foreign exchange (FX) market, data on FMDQ shows that investors traded about $78 million deals on the I&E window.
