FCTA Declares Trademore Estate Disaster Zone There are strong indications that the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) may begin evacuation of people from Trademore Estate following the devastating flood that claimed property and lives this week. This is as the FCTA Permanent Secretary, Olusade Adesola, has declared the Estate a disaster zone. Recall that three days ago, fatal floods hit the estate located in Lugbe, a suburb of Abuja. Tinubu dissolves boards of govt parastatals, agencies, companies President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has approved the immediate dissolution of the Governing Boards of all Federal Government Parastatals, Agencies, Institutions, and Government-Owned Companies in the exercise of its Constitutional Powers and in the Public interest. Naira falls N770 to a dollars The Naira on Monday, June 19, closed at N770 per dollar at the investors and exporters (I&E) window.   FMDQ Securities Exchange Limited said Monday's closing rate represents a 16.1 percent depreciation from the N663 recorded on the last trading day (Friday).   Though the Naira is yet to gain stability following changes implemented by the federal government in Nigeria’s foreign exchange (FX) market, data on FMDQ shows that investors traded about $78 million deals on the I&E window.

Mail Online reports that the new package is understood to be worth a guaranteed £55million plus an extra £5m in bonuses after Arsenal's original offer of around £50million was turned down by Chelsea last week.
